How to Open a Silver State Trade Account
1. Please download & complete the New Account Form to apply for an account.
2. Complete the yellow highlighted fields, print and sign the applicable Resale Certificate for your state.

Copies of sales tax licenses or permits are not acceptable; Silver State is required to obtain a signed resale certificate for sales tax compliance.

Silver State is required by law to collect sales tax in certain jurisdictions; it is the responsibility of the applicant to provide a signed resale certificate in advance, otherwise sales tax may apply.

A Statement of Final Destination form will need to be completed if ship-to is outside of your account’s state and where Silver State is not required by law to collect sales tax. For those states where Silver State is required to collect sales tax, sales taxes will apply unless customer has previously provided a signed, valid resale certificate for that state. Here is our current Final Destination procedure.
3. If applying for Net 30 credit terms, download & complete the Net 30 Application
